About The Position

The National Security Sector at Leidos currently has an opening for a cleared cartographic analyst to support our customer in St. Louis Missouri. This is an exciting opportunity to use your experience in GIS analysis to support a dynamic national security customer. The successful candidate will work as a member of a government-contractor team providing cartographic production and analysis. The candidate should have a strong geospatial background and the ability to work independently as well as collaborate on projects. This position supports 40 hours of telework per pay period. Position requires a current TS/SCI and willingness to obtain a CI Polygraph.

Requirements

High School Degree and 5 years of related experience or High School Degree and 4 years experience at GPC Level I or II.
Relevant Bachelor’s Degree and 2 years related experience.
Experience in geography, cartography and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) which includes skill in ArcGIS applications.
Experience in creating shapefiles, geo-databases, and features.
Knowledge of digital cartography, image processing, geographical information systems (GIS), geospatial production techniques and NGA digital data formats.
Ability to analyze imagery and non-imagery source information for application to NGA hydrographic products and databases.
TS/SCI and willingness to obtain a CI Polygraph.

Previous Nautical Maritime experience.

Responsibilities

Provide Electronic Nautical Chart Conversion, Production and Review.
Provide support to existing and developing mission areas.
Perform Cartographic and GIS analyst functions for Digital Nautical Chart and/or Electronic Nautical Chart Conversion production.
Extract features from a variety of sources including rasterized nautical charts, digital hydrographic survey data, and ortho-rectified imagery.
Update source and source catalogs and information.
Perform Data Conversion/migration.
