About The Position
Delcastle Golf Course, located in Wilmington, DE, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a part-time Cart Attendant! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast‑paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon, you’ll contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.
Requirements
- Less than high school education; or up to one-month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Must have valid Driver’s License.
- Must be at least 16 years of age.
- Ability to read and speak English may be required in order to perform the duties of the job (e.g. the associates may be required to communicate with English speaking customers or co-workers, the manuals for the equipment the associates may use are in English).
Responsibilities
- Maintains professional appearance.
- Brings carts from the cart barn in the morning and returns carts to the cart barn at the end of the day.
- Cleans, waters, checks carts after each use and restocks as required.
- Cleans and maintains cart barn.
- Ensures carts are available for player use at all times.
- Receives and communicates complaints to the Golf Shop.
- Works closely with Golf Shop staff to prepare and conduct golf tournaments.
- Implements and supports all course policies and programs as communicated by management.
- Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
- Regular and reliable attendance.
- Performs other duties as required.
