The Carrier Sales team is essential in providing excellent customer service by fostering strong carrier partnerships, ensuring capacity, and offering innovative transportation solutions. We are looking for a seasoned Senior Carrier Sales Representative who excels in dynamic settings, enjoys negotiation, and has a history of achieving success.
Requirements
- Previous experience in Carrier Sales or Freight Brokerage.
- Demonstrated success managing a high-volume book of business.
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience navigating transportation market trends and capacity challenges.

Responsibilities
- Build and manage a portfolio of carrier relationships and strategically develop capacity.
- Negotiate rates and secure transportation solutions to fulfill customer commitments.
- Book loads while balancing profitability and service requirements.
- Communicate proactively regarding service issues, delays, and capacity challenges.
- Develop carrier capacity for high-volume lanes, problem lanes, and future opportunities.
- Source and onboard new carriers while ensuring proper qualification procedures are followed.
- Analyze market trends and provide input on regional pricing strategies.
- Resolve carrier-related issues and negotiate accessorial charges when necessary.
- Partner cross-functionally to ensure customers receive best-in-class service.
- Mentor teammates and share best practices with the Carrier Sales organization.
