We're seeking an experienced Senior Carrier Sales Representative who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys negotiating, and has a proven track record of delivering results.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in Carrier Sales or Freight Brokerage.
  • Demonstrated success managing a high-volume book of business.
  • Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience navigating transportation market trends and capacity challenges.

Responsibilities

  • Build and manage a portfolio of carrier relationships and strategically develop capacity.
  • Negotiate rates and secure transportation solutions to fulfill customer commitments.
  • Book loads while balancing profitability and service requirements.
  • Communicate proactively regarding service issues, delays, and capacity challenges.
  • Develop carrier capacity for high-volume lanes, problem lanes, and future opportunities.
  • Source and onboard new carriers while ensuring proper qualification procedures are followed.
  • Analyze market trends and provide input on regional pricing strategies.
  • Resolve carrier-related issues and negotiate accessorial charges when necessary.
  • Partner cross-functionally to ensure customers receive best-in-class service.
  • Mentor teammates and share best practices with the Carrier Sales organization.
