About The Position

We are seeking a highly motivated Carrier Sales Representative to join our growing logistics team. This role is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and managing carrier relationships with a strong focus on Less-Than-Truckload (LTL) freight. The ideal candidate has experience working with carriers, understands LTL pricing and capacity dynamics, and thrives in a fast-paced brokerage environment. This position is fully remote and designed for professionals located in Latin America who are looking to build a long-term career in transportation and logistics while supporting U.S.-based operations.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in carrier sales, carrier procurement, dispatch, or freight brokerage.
  • Direct experience working with LTL carriers and freight networks.
  • Strong understanding of LTL pricing structures, freight classes, NMFC classifications, and accessorial charges.
  • Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a high-volume environment.
  • Proficiency with transportation management systems (TMS), CRM platforms, and Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
  • Reliable internet connection and dedicated home office setup.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting U.S.-based logistics or freight brokerage operations.
  • Knowledge of additional freight modes including Truckload, Partial, Drayage, or Intermodal.
  • Experience using systems such as McLeod, Truckstop, DAT, Salesforce, AscendTMS, or similar platforms.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field.

Responsibilities

  • Source, onboard, and maintain relationships with LTL carriers across North America.
  • Secure competitive pricing and capacity solutions to support customer freight requirements.
  • Negotiate rates and service agreements with carriers to maximize profitability while maintaining service standards.
  • Coordinate daily freight coverage and proactively address capacity challenges.
  • Monitor carrier performance, including on-time delivery, claims, communication, and service quality.
  • Work closely with Account Managers, Customer Sales Representatives, and Operations teams to ensure successful load execution.
  • Manage carrier communication throughout the shipment lifecycle.
  • Resolve service failures, delays, and carrier-related issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain accurate carrier records, pricing information, and activity within the company's TMS and CRM systems.
  • Stay informed on market conditions, carrier trends, and industry developments.
