About The Position

We are looking for a dependable and hard-working Carpet Technician to join our team. The Carpet Technician is responsible for cleaning carpets, upholstery, and floors in guest rooms, hallways, public areas, and other assigned locations. This position helps maintain a clean, safe, and professional environment for guests and associates.

Requirements

Previous carpet cleaning/floor care experience required
Must be able to stand for long periods of time
Ability to lift, push, and pull heavy equipment and furniture
Strong attention and care to details
Passion for providing exceptional service to guests and team members
Proven job reliability, diligence, dedication, and attention to detail
Teamwork and collaboration
Must be able to communicate clearly and professionally with guests, coworkers and supervisors
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good time management and reliability

Nice To Haves

Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality business, team members may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the resort, including weekends and holidays

Responsibilities

Clean carpets using extraction machines, shampooers, and other carpet cleaning equipment
Spot treat stains and remove odors from carpets and upholstery
Vacuum and maintain carpets in guest rooms, hallways, and public areas
Move furniture as needed for proper carpet cleaning
Report damaged carpet, equipment issues, or safety concerns to management
Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies in good working condition
Follow all safety procedures and chemical handling guidelines
Assist housekeeping or maintenance teams when needed
Complete assigned work orders in a timely manner
Other duties as assigned
