About The Position

Engineer, Carpet Layer / Floor Covering Installer is responsible for the professional preparation, installation, repair, and maintenance of carpet and related floor covering systems in commercial, hospitality, and institutional environments. The position also supports overall facilities operations by responding to maintenance needs, guest concerns, and preventative maintenance requirements. All work must be performed in accordance with industry standards, manufacturer specifications, union work practices, and all applicable Local, State, and National codes and regulations. Centrally located in the heart of the Las Vegas Strip, The Linq is famous for its comfortable atmosphere and friendly customer service. The resort offers 2,640 rooms and suites, nearly 75,000 square-feet of casino space offering world-class gaming and 40,000 square-feet of meeting and banquet space.

Requirements

• Experience in professional preparation, installation, repair, and maintenance of carpet and related floor covering systems.
• Ability to support overall facilities operations by responding to maintenance needs, guest concerns, and preventative maintenance requirements.
• Knowledge of industry standards, manufacturer specifications, union work practices, and applicable codes and regulations.
