About The Position

The Carpentry Technician will provide technical expertise in the evaluation and renovation of investment properties. This position will assist Brighton Properties with achieving short- and long-term goals for residential construction and renovation projects.

Requirements

  • 2-4 years of experience in residential carpentry, specifically with framing, drywall, insulation, finishing)
  • Knowledge of architectural blueprints
  • Know OSHA requirements, Lead-Safe, City Codes
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills

Responsibilities

  • Use creative problem-solving during property walkthroughs to identify good investment opportunities and a critical eye for spotting structural defects.
  • Assist with the creation of the scope of work to be performed for each project.
  • Attend building inspections.
  • Basic ability to read blueprints and assist in mapping out daily project tasks.
  • Ability to follow local, state, and federal laws for safety and compliance.
