Carpentry Instructor
About The Position

The Faculty of Trades & Technology at Kwantlen Polytechnic University is currently seeking a Regular Fulltime Carpentry/Building Construction instructor to delivery. Foundation training and Apprentice training Levels 1, 2, 3, and 4. This Carpentry/Building Construction training is primarily on campus at KPU Tech. More information concerning the working conditions for a faculty member are outlined in Article 12 of the Kwantlen Faculty Association (KFA) Collective Agreement.
Requirements
- Certificate of Qualification with Interprovincial Red Seal Endorsement (IP RSE)
- A minimum of five years current industry experience as a Carpentry/Building Construction Journeyperson
- Knowledge and ability to communicate effectively with students
- Criminal Record Check
Nice To Haves
- Demonstrated record of teaching successfully
- Current carpentry skills
- Five (5) years supervisory or administrative experience
