About The Position

EMI Services, a subsidiary of TechFlow, is seeking a Carpenter for a position at Camp Lejeune. This is a non-seasonal role offering steady work with competitive wages and an insurance allowance. The Carpenter will be responsible for designing, building, remodeling, retrofitting, maintaining, and repairing various facilities and structures, both interior and exterior. This includes working with materials such as wood, drywall, plaster, concrete, brick, ceramic tile, and paint, and performing tasks ranging from installing siding and roofs to building cabinets and doors. The ideal candidate is an experienced handyman who adheres to all health and safety standards.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
3 + years of experience in the carpentry trades.
Valid Driver's License compliant with REAL ID Act or willing and able to obtain one.
Pass a pre-employment drug screening.
US citizenship to obtain and maintain access to military installations.

Nice To Haves

Basic understanding of facia and trim with fabrication skills.

Prioritize tasks to ensure completion in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

Design, build, remodel, retrofit, maintain and repair facilities and structures.
Work on interior and exterior projects, including siding, soffits, roofs, cabinets, tables, benches, doors, and door closures.
Work with materials such as wood, drywall, plaster, concrete, brick, ceramic tile, and paint.
Assess tasks and determine solutions including cost, time, and materials.
Operate, maintain, and calibrate hand tools, portable power tools, and standard measuring instruments.
Respond to routine and emergency calls for repairs and service.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
