We are seeking Carpenters to support the Veteran community in the Montgomery, AL area. These positions are open to all candidates, including Locum or Traveling professionals. The role involves measuring, cutting, constructing, or repairing wood or wood substitute items such as scaffolding, staging parts, panels, bin pallets, concrete forms, dry walls, and roof decking. It also includes measuring, cutting, constructing, installing, repairing, and modifying building components such as rafters, walls, staircases, windows, and frames, trim work, and cabinets. Carpenters will independently plan and complete projects that involve constructing, altering, repairing, and/or modifying framework, rafters, doors, finished paneling, windows, interior/exterior trim, staircases, trusses, and beams. The role requires planning, measuring, and laying out carpentry materials using broad knowledge of wood materials and substitutes with general and precision woodworking techniques, as well as knowledge of metal framing for walls and drop ceilings, and concrete and masonry skills.
