About The Position
Wildstone is a General Contractor currently recruiting for a Carpenter (ticketed or un-ticketed) with experience on commercial and light industrial projects to join our team. Travel is required for this position. You'll travel for work to locations throughout BC, the Yukon and occasionally the Northwest Territories. Our crews typically work 21/7 rotations, travel in and out of various locations, and work 10-hour shifts on average. Requirements
- Red Seal Carpenter or a minimum 5 years Carpentry experience
- Dependable and a self-starter
- Must have or be willing to obtain the following tickets: Fall protection, WHMIS 2015, Scissor lift, and Level 1 First Aid
Responsibilities
- Framing experience on commercial, multi-residential and industrial construction projects
- Understand modern construction practices and construction documents and can read and interpret blueprints
- Work safely and look out for the safety of the crew on site
- Build and maintain successful work relationships
