About The Position

Miller & Miller is seeking a skilled Carpenter for commercial construction, specifically focusing on bridge carpentry. The role involves laying out carpentry work from plans or sketches, and constructing various wooden structures such as concrete forms, falsework, pouring chutes, and scaffolds. The carpenter will build forms for bridges, draining structures, and walls, either in place to line and grade or by prefabricating units for later erection. Related duties may also be assigned. Requirements

• 10 years Commercial Construction Bridge Carpenter experience required.
• Ability to read and interpret blue prints strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lays out carpentry work from plans or sketch.
• Builds wooden structure, such as: concrete forms, falsework, pouring chute, scaffold, etc.
• Builds in place to line and grade, or prefabricates in units to be erected later, forms for bridge, draining structure, walls, etc.
• May perform related duties.
