We do a variety of home repairs, full residential remodels, and commercial maintenance and commercial build-outs. Requirements

  • 5 to 7+ years of field experience in the home construction, repair & remodel industries.
  • Well skilled in 1 or more of the following areas and willing to learn more skills: CARPENTRY (framing, trim, cabinets, baseboards, crown, doors, windows, cabinets), DRYWALL (hang, tape, finish, texture) PAINTING/STAINING (brush/roll, spray) FLOORING (LVP, hardwood, stair systems) TILE (floor, shower walls, backsplash) light PLUMBING, light ELECTRICAL Remodels (kitchen, bath) Basement finishing Deck building Siding/fascia/soffit/metal wrap
  • Hands-on with a knowledge of the principles, techniques, equipment, and supplies used in residential construction.
  • Ability to learn and operate some basic computer programs and systems
  • Friendly personality and committed to great customer service
  • A strong work ethic and highly dependable
  • Able to do physical labor work including bending, lifting (50+ lbs), and handling tools
  • Driver's license is required

Responsibilities

  • Work well either alone on small jobs, and/or as a part of a crew on remodel projects.
  • Meet or exceed personal, team and company goals.
  • Complete various repair and remodel jobs that involves carpentry, drywall, flooring, painting, light electrical and plumbing, etc.
  • As experienced carpenter, lead jobsite tasks as needed.
  • Organize and manage materials and equipment for the jobs as needed.
  • Maintain clean, organized and safe jobsite.
  • Keep the company vehicle that you drive clean and tidy.
  • Coach and lead junior team members as needed.
  • Effectively communicate with customers, management team, office staff and vendors.
  • Follow company process and procedures.
  • Representing House Doctors in the local community and networking with potential customers as needs arise.
