About The Position

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Carpenters of all skill levels for projects located in or around Virginia Beach, VA. This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is up to $32/hour based on experience and skill level. Requirements

Previous carpentry, construction, woodworking, or manufacturing experience preferred
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings preferred
Experience using hand and power tools
Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
Ability to work independently or as part of a team
Must be reliable, safety-conscious, and dependable

Responsibilities

Build wooden crates and containers from lumber according to blueprints, drawings, and job orders
Safely operate hand and power tools, including saws, nail guns, drills, hammers, and related equipment
Measure, cut, assemble, and fasten crate components to create durable shipping containers
Assist skilled carpenters with fabrication and construction tasks
Maintain a safe and organized work environment
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and building specifications
Measure, cut, shape, and join wood, steel, and other construction materials
Build rough frameworks, walls, floors, doorframes, and concrete forms
Perform finish carpentry including the installation of doors, windows, molding, hardware, and cabinetry
Utilize hand and power tools to complete projects accurately and efficiently
Maintain quality workmanship while adhering to all jobsite safety standards
