Tradesmen International is immediately hiring Skilled Carpenters of all skill levels for projects located in or around Charles City, VA. This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is up to $32/hour based on experience and skill level. Requirements

Must be able to pass a background check
Experience with hand and power tools preferred
Restoration, construction, or general labor experience is a plus
Must be reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work independently or as part of a team
Previous carpentry experience required
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings
Experience with framing, finish carpentry, and general construction
Must have a strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship

Responsibilities

Assess water-damaged areas and assist with restoration plans
Perform water extraction and drying processes using specialized equipment
Clean carpets and surfaces affected by water damage
Safely use hand tools and power tools for restoration tasks
Maintain clean and organized work areas
Ensure equipment is properly maintained
Document completed work and restoration activities
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and building specifications
Measure, cut, shape, and join wood, steel, and other construction materials
Build rough frameworks, walls, floors, doorframes, and concrete forms
Install doors, windows, molding, hardware, cabinetry, and other finish components
Perform framing and finish carpentry work
Utilize hand and power tools safely and efficiently
