This role builds formwork used in INF production.

Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or three to six months related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to write simple correspondence.
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, and diagram form.
Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Builds formwork used in INF production.
Check the Carpenter Shop Lead’s sketch or drawings of formwork.
Carry Styrofoam, 2x4’s, PVC pipe, etc., into the Carpenter Shop.
Measure and mark forming material to the correct dimensions.
Cut/saw forming materials to size on a table saw, radial saw, or other equipment.
Cut/saw bevel in the narrow or wide reveal.
Install reveals or other formwork in INF forms.
Repair, modify, or clean used formwork to be salvaged for additional pours.
Clean up the work area.
