About The Position

EWI Worldwide is seeking exhibit woodworkers, carpenters, and cabinet makers to fabricate high-quality custom properties for auto shows, trade shows, and museums. The role involves fabricating cabinets and working with wood, plastic, and other materials to create, repair, and install custom components. Work includes interpreting blueprints, using woodworking machinery and hand and power tools, assembling wood components, and installing hardware. Candidates should be prepared to work overtime and collaborate with a team.

Requirements

Be ready and willing to work.
Be well versed in finish work such as laminate, melamine, and moldings.
Follow written and verbal instructions.
Work effectively in a team environment.
Be able to work overtime.

Responsibilities

Fabricate cabinets rather than only assembling them.
Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, and other materials.
Read tape measures and follow blueprints.
Lay out, cut, and assemble wood components.
Operate woodworking machines, hand tools, and power tools.
Build, repair, and install cabinets, countertops, shelving, moldings, and partition walls.
Install hardware such as hinges, handles, catches, drawers, pulls, and slides.
