Requirements

High school diploma or GED certification
2 years carpentry experience required
Current driver’s license
Ability to travel to jobsites within the Central Oregon Region
Must have physical strength and manual dexterity, including hand/eye coordination, to manage all materials and tasks as required per job

Nice To Haves

Ability to read and understand blueprints

Responsibilities

Prepare the building foundation layout
Form and pour concrete foundations for walls and footings
Work with materials such as wood, plastic, steel, or concrete
Utilize hand and power tools and work in accordance with company and OSHA safety best practices
Frame floors, walls and roof structures
Perform finish carpentry, and install doors/frames & hardware, and windows
Operate equipment such as forklifts, scissor lifts and boom lifts. Proper company certification is provided and required
Work on elevated platforms, such as ladders and scaffolding
Ensure compliance with safety regulations to minimize risk of workplace accidents
Report any unsafe workplace conditions or unsafe acts by others to management immediately
