We’re looking for a Carpenter that will be responsible for constructing and installing concrete formwork during the early stages of construction projects. This role requires strong technical skill in carpentry and formwork assembly, the ability to read and interpret construction plans, and a commitment to safe and precise execution in the field.

Requirements

  • Ability to read and interpret construction plans.
  • Proficiency with electrical, hand, power, layout, and measurement tools.
  • Ability to understand, follow, and transmit written and oral instructions.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with management and team members.

Nice To Haves

  • 3–5 years of concrete form carpentry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Construct, erect, and install formwork using hand and power tools.
  • Measure, cut, assemble, and install forms, rebar, embeds, and anchor bolts.
  • Build both built-in-place and prefabricated wooden forms in accordance with project specifications.
  • Insert spreaders and tie-rods to maintain specified dimensions.
  • Brace forms in place using nails, bolts, anchor bolts, steel cables, planks, and timber.
  • Install all items in accordance with applicable plans and specifications.
  • Assist in pouring concrete into finished forms.
  • Finish concrete surfaces to meet quality and design specifications.
  • Adhere to all company safety protocols, project rules, and OSHA standards.
  • Proactively identify unsafe conditions or behaviors and report them to supervision.
  • Maintain tools and equipment in safe, working condition.
