About The Position
We are seeking motivated and dependable Entry-Level Carpenters to join our growing team on construction projects throughout the Boston and North Shore areas. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to start a career in the carpentry trade while gaining hands-on experience working alongside skilled carpenters and foremen.
Requirements
- Ability to use basic hand and power tools
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical labor throughout the day
- Reliable transportation to job sites throughout the Boston and North Shore area
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Nice To Haves
- Previous construction or carpentry experience is helpful but not required
- OSHA 10 certification is a plus but not required
Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters with framing, finish work, and general construction tasks
- Measure, cut, and prepare materials as directed
- Load, unload, and transport tools, equipment, and building materials
- Operate hand and power tools safely
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Assist with installation of doors, trim, cabinetry, drywall, and other carpentry-related tasks
- Follow all company safety procedures and job site regulations
- Perform general labor duties as needed to support project completion
