About The Position

Eleven Western Builders is seeking experienced carpenters for retail construction and remodel projects. The role involves performing a variety of carpentry and interior finish scopes, including installation of millwork, cabinetry, fixtures, displays, décor packages, wall panels, trim, doors, frames, hardware, and accessories. Responsibilities also include rough carpentry, framing, backing, blocking, drywall installation, patching, finishing, interior finish work, and general carpentry tasks. The carpenter will be responsible for layout and installation from drawings and project plans, working alongside other trades, and maintaining a clean work area. Attention to detail, professionalism, and quality workmanship are essential due to the nature of working in active retail environments.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of carpentry experience
• Strong skills in rough carpentry, framing, drywall, finish carpentry, millwork, and fixture installation
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings
• Ability to safely operate hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to travel to project locations and stay up to 2 weeks at a time, as project schedules require
• Commitment to jobsite safety and producing quality work

Nice To Haves

• Experience with retail, commercial, tenant improvement, or remodel construction preferred
