About The Position
The Carpenter II independently performs a wide variety of skilled carpentry work in the construction, alteration, and repair of structural woodwork and wooden articles as a major work assignment. The role also supervises skilled carpenters as a continuing work assignment, including setting the pace and quality of workmanship, and supervises other skilled carpenters. The immediate vacancy is with the Department of Accounting & General Services. Recruitment Number 26-0397 is a continuous recruitment and may close at any time. The recruitment may establish a list of qualified applicants for current and future vacancies. Applicants must meet the experience and training requirements and possess a valid driver's license at appointment.
Requirements
- Six years of work experience performing a variety of rough and finished carpentry work, including two years as a fully competent carpenter, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
- Possess a valid driver's license at the time of appointment.
