The Carpenter II – Historic Preservation Carpenter is responsible for performing skilled carpentry, preservation, repair, maintenance, and construction work in support of historic structures, furnishings, and facilities. This position performs specialized historic preservation work while also supporting general facility maintenance and repair needs to ensure buildings and public areas remain safe, functional, clean, and well maintained. The Carpenter II works in accordance with the State of California historic preservation requirements, applicable building codes, Aramark standards, and established safety procedures. The position requires knowledge of traditional and contemporary carpentry techniques, the ability to identify and appropriately repair historic materials, and the ability to independently assess and respond to maintenance and preservation needs.
