Requirements

  • The formal education equivalent of a high school diploma
  • At least four years of experience in the Carpentry Skilled Trade
  • Valid Driver License
  • Knowledge of the methods, practices, and safety precautions in one or more of the skilled trades
  • Knowledge of the laws and regulations relating to one or more of the skilled trades
  • Skill in the use and care of tools and machinery used in one or more of the skilled trades
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, manuals, schematics, building plans, and/or work drawings
  • Ability to understand verbal and written instructions
  • Knowledge and use of a CMMS/Work Order Management system and associated mobile platforms
  • Basic understanding of Microsoft Office products such as email, spreadsheets
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior staff or apprentices
  • Proof of legal authority to work in the United States on the first day of employment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience as a Skilled Carpenter for at least six years
  • OSHA Certification

Responsibilities

  • Installation and/or replacement of floors, cabinets, shelving, walls, ceilings, windows, doors, etc.
  • Installation and/or maintenance of all types of roofing.
  • Duties may include leading small projects and operating independently without supervision.
  • This position will be on-call for after-hours emergencies and during inclement weather.
  • Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.
