About The Position

WB Melback Corporation is seeking a Carpenter Foreman based out of the Temiskaming Shores area to join their team. This role is responsible for supervising and coordinating carpentry crews engaged in concrete forming and related construction activities. The Foreman ensures work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project specifications, drawings, and schedules. They provide leadership, direction, and support to crew members while maintaining quality standards and productivity targets.

Requirements

• Experience as a Carpenter and/or Form work Carpenter in industrial or commercial construction
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience considered an asset
• Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to lead crews in remote and industrial project environments
• Commitment to safety, quality, and productivity standards

Responsibilities

• Enforce and follow all safety regulations and site-specific requirements
• Lead, coordinate, and direct carpentry/forming crews on site
• Read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and work plans
• Organize daily work activities, manpower, and material requirements
• Ensure proper construction, alignment, and installation of form work systems
• Ensure all work meets required standards and project specifications
• Liaise with site supervision, project managers, and other trades
• Monitor progress and ensure work is completed on schedule
• Ensure tools and equipment are used safely and maintained properly
• Provide updates on progress, manpower, and site conditions as required
