Carpenter Foreman (Hourly)
About The Position
Holder Construction is seeking a Carpenter Foreman to join its Operations team in Atlanta, Georgia. This is a full-time, hourly position. The role is a working foreman position: the foreman leads the crew and coordinates jobsite projects, while also assisting with the work when needed. The position requires 10 years of construction or carpentry experience, leadership and communication skills, and the ability to read basic drawings. The work involves substantial physical activity, including lifting and carrying materials weighing 50–100 pounds for 75% of the time, working at heights and on uneven surfaces, and climbing ladders and scaffolds. Substance abuse testing and a background screening are conditions of employment. Holder Construction does not sponsor applicants for immigration status or benefits.
Requirements
- 10 years of construction or carpentry experience.
- Strong leadership, communication, and time-management skills.
- Ability to read basic drawings.
- Ability to remain agile/mobile and alert; stand or walk for long periods; use fingers, hands, and arms to reach, handle, and manipulate objects; climb ladders, scaffolds, and other objects; and work on uneven surfaces and at heights.
- Ability to read and write and to see and hear well, naturally or with correction.
- Ability to lift and carry materials of all shapes and sizes weighing 50–100 pounds for 75% of the time.
- Punctuality and promptness are required every day.
- Must pass substance abuse testing and background screening as conditions of employment.

Responsibilities
