About The Position

Edgewood Properties, a leading real estate development and property management company founded in 1992 with corporate headquarters in New Jersey, is experiencing rapid growth. The company's apartment portfolio of over 6,000 units is expected to double in the next few years and exceed 12,000 units in five years. Due to ongoing construction and development plans, and a strategy to develop and hold properties, this is an ideal time for qualified candidates to join the team. Edgewood Properties is seeking a full-time Carpenter/Caulker/Apprentice for its multi-family and commercial portfolio, based out of the South Plainfield office but assigned to various locations as needed. This position operates Monday through Friday.

Requirements

• Organized and Detailed
• Reliable and On Time
• Ability to Follow Directions
• Not Afraid of Heights
• Able to Lift Up to 100 lbs
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Must Pass Drug and Background Check
• Commercial experience required

Nice To Haves

• Primarily Residential Experience will not be considered.

Responsibilities

• Assist in Commercial Division as a Carpenter / Caulker / Apprentice
• Assist in Finding Leaks
• Set Up and Work on Scaffolding, Ladders and Aerial Lifts
• Carpentry and Labor Work
• Cut out old caulking and reapply new caulking in a neat clean matter
