About The Position
Skilled Carpenter / Cabinet Maker St. Germain, WI A client of ours is seeking a skilled Carpenter/Cabinet Maker to join their growing team. Position Overview: This role is ideal for an experienced craftsman who takes pride in high-quality woodworking and finish carpentry. You’ll be responsible for building, installing, and finishing custom cabinetry and woodwork for residential projects, with a strong emphasis on precision, detail, and craftsmanship.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in carpentry or cabinet making
- Strong knowledge of woodworking tools, equipment, and techniques
- Ability to read and interpret plans and technical drawings
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred
Nice To Haves
- Custom cabinetry or high-end residential work
- Experience with shop tools (table saws, planers, routers, etc.)
- Finishing techniques including staining and sealing
Responsibilities
- Build and assemble custom cabinets, furniture, and millwork
- Perform finish carpentry including trim, molding, and installation
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Measure, cut, and shape wood and other materials with accuracy
- Install cabinetry and woodwork on-site to client specifications
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure timelines and quality standards are met
