About The Position

This position is responsible for preparing, producing, and cooking Deli prepared products according to provided recipes. The role involves handling cutting equipment and using various Deli equipment such as knives, pots, ovens, and grills. The Carnitas Cook 1 will oversee the quality of products before they are sold or served to customers, suggest Deli department products and services, and operate equipment and machinery like a baler or forklift as needed. Other duties common to the Deli department may be assigned by the supervisor.

• Ability to operate equipment and machinery such as baler, forklift, etc.
