A Cook is responsible for the food preparation, execution, and delivery of safely handled food to the customer facing employees for service. This role requires maintaining a friendly, positive attitude and a professional demeanor at all times. The Cook must report for scheduled events on time, report to their assigned area promptly, and fulfill opening and closing duties. They will receive prep lists and timelines from their direct supervisor and carry out assigned tasks in a timely and safe fashion using correct recipes. Constant maintenance of walk-in coolers, reach-ins, dry storage, and all work areas is expected. The Cook must have extensive knowledge of all menus being offered, including specials, and communicate effectively with Supervisors, Attendants, Runners, Chefs, and Legends Management. Working collaboratively as a team with fellow associates and other service departments within the venue is crucial. Attention to detail that exceeds expectations, and maintaining a clean, sanitary, and orderly setting within the kitchen are key responsibilities. Upon completion of closing duties, the Cook will check out with their manager/supervisor. They must be familiar with the kitchen layout and back-of-house area, including the location of the closest First Aid office, bathroom, and staircase, and be able to direct staff and guests. Awareness of other food and beverage outlets within the venue is also necessary. The Cook may be reassigned to different locations based on venue needs, and other duties and assignments may apply. A flexible schedule is required to meet service demand levels, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
