Requirements
- High School Diploma or general education degree (GED); three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Qualified candidates must be able to demonstrate strong customer service skills, both over the phone and in person.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Able to type 40wpm proficiently.
Responsibilities
- Take OS&D calls and reports from drivers and customers.
- Coordinate with customers to determine disposition of refused freight.
- Make arrangements to track, secure, and redeliver rejected freight.
- Investigate and review claims to determine carrier liability.
- Maintain claim journals and reporting requirements.
- Process claim payments and deliver charges.
- Provide proof of delivery and donation receipts to customers upon request.
- Assist the department with other general duties.
- Ability to work weekends and take after hour calls required.
- Day shift: Tuesday - Saturday.
