About The Position
This position is for a Caretaker (HA) with responsibilities including mixing plastering materials, applying them to surfaces, lathing and plastering bases, and performing dust control and cleanup. Appointed caretakers are encouraged to gain knowledge for career advancement to Plasterer. Travel to developments within the assigned neighborhood is a requirement. This position will cover Brooklyn Neighborhood 02, which includes Breukelen, Cypress Hills, Pink, and Vandalia.

Responsibilities
- Mix plastering materials properly.
- Apply plastering materials to interior and exterior surfaces (use of hawk, trowel, Darby, slicker; working of dots and screeds); apply plaster coats (scratch, brown and finish).
- Lathing and plastering bases (channel iron, wire lath, etc.).
- Perform dust control and clean up.
