About The Position
Caregivers provide assistance to individuals, in their own homes and/or their communities, who need assistance caring for themselves as a result of age, rehabilitation, disability and/or other issues. Services may include assistance with the activities of daily living (ADLs), light housekeeping, meal preparation, transportation, companionship and respite care. Caregivers are responsible for ensuring that service is delivered in a caring and respectful manner, in accordance with relevant local office policies and industry standards.
Requirements
- Assistance caring for themselves as a result of age, rehabilitation, disability and/or other issues.
Responsibilities
- Provide assistance to individuals in their own homes and/or communities.
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs).
- Perform light housekeeping.
- Prepare meals.
- Provide transportation.
- Offer companionship.
- Provide respite care.
- Ensure service is delivered in a caring and respectful manner, in accordance with relevant local office policies and industry standards.
