About The Position
We are seeking talented and team-oriented Caregivers to join our Balfour – Louisville community. We are committed to a work environment of integrity, respect and a customer focus. This is a part-time position with a schedule available on Fridays and Saturdays from 6:30 am to 2:30 pm. The pay rate is $18-20/hr with a $1.50 evening differential rate after 6:30 pm.
Requirements
- Bring a smile to work every day
- Be a great team player
- High school education or GED equivalent preferred
- First Aid certification and CPR, if required
- Must meet state training requirements and/or certifications
- Nursing Assistant Certification (CNA) if required
- PCA if required
- QMAP requirements must be met
- Successfully passing a drug screen, TB Test and Background Check
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with simple requests as needed
- Supervise or assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, meals, ambulation and other activities
- Provide companionship and develop strong resident relations
- Respond to emergencies according to policies and procedures
- Document care provided to residents consistent
- Provide input to assure that resident individual service plans are current
- Review 24 hour report and care check lists regularly
- Pass meds
