Requirements

• Experience caring for those with severe autism (2+ years required; caring for a loved one counts).
• Willingness to drive the client daily (Mon-Fri) for activities (approx. 15-20 miles/day).
• Experience handling seizures.
• Compassionate care with a positive attitude.
• Punctual and dependable.
• Reliable transportation.
• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide non-medical care and home companionship.
• Assist with laundry, grocery shopping, and meal preparation.
• Help clients maintain proper personal hygiene.
• Aid with daily tasks such as bathing and feeding.
• Provide companionship to clients with severe autism.
• Complete documentation for each shift and submit timely updates.
• Communicate routinely with the office about client condition and needs.
• Drive the client for activities (Mon-Fri, approx. 15-20 miles/day).
