About The Position
Amada Senior Care is seeking compassionate, experienced, and reliable caregivers, specifically CNAs and HCAs, to join our team. We are hiring for a client in Olalla/Gig Harbor, WA, requiring care Monday through Thursday from 10 am to 2 pm. Our caregivers are essential to our high standards of care and are dedicated to improving the lives of our clients.
Requirements
- Active State License: CNA or HCA required.
- Caregiver with at least one (1) year of caregiver experience, highly preferred.
- Ability to lift, move or assist patients using proper body mechanics.
- Must have valid Driver's License, proof of current auto insurance.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Ability to pass a criminal background and fingerprint check, as required per Washington state law.
- Ability to communicate effectively with seniors.
- Must be reliable and dependable.
Nice To Haves
- Nurse Delegation: highly preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Assisting with ADL's (Activities of Daily Living) including bathing, dressing, transferring, toileting, incontinence, and feeding.
- Assisting with IADL's (Instrumental Activities of Daily Living) including shopping, housekeeping, medication management, and meal preparation.
- Following each client's Care Plan.
