About The Position

Ensemble Schools is seeking fun, experienced, and professional instrumental substitute teachers to teach part-time at Cappella Academy, located in Gig Harbor, WA. The role requires in-person instruction, and the ability to teach multiple instruments is a plus. Substitute teachers will be contacted when there is a need in a main teacher's schedule, with preference given to candidates with greater availability due to the value of consistency for students and staff. Successful candidates should possess a strong music background, evidenced by a degree in instrumental or vocal performance or equivalent performing experience, a demonstrated love of teaching, and experience working with young musicians. Punctuality, reliable transportation, and the ability to pass a background check are also required. Instructor pay ranges from $30-33/hour, commensurate with experience. Ensemble Schools offers a 401(K) program with employer matching after 30 days of employment, and health benefits options are available for all part- and full-time employees. There is an opportunity to advance to a main teacher position by demonstrating consistency and availability. Requirements

• Fun, experienced, and professional instrumental substitute teacher
