About The Position

Ensemble Schools is seeking fun, experienced, and professional instrumental substitute teachers to teach part-time at Cappella Academy at their Bonney Lake, WA location. The role requires in-person instruction, with high demand for piano, guitar, bass, drums, violin, and voice teachers. Substitute teachers are contacted when there is a deficit in a main teacher's schedule, and consistency and greater availability are preferred. Instructor pay is commensurate with experience, ranging from $30-33/hour. A 401(K) program with employer matching is available after 30 days, and health benefits options are offered to all part- and full-time employees. There is an opportunity to advance to a main teacher position with demonstrated consistency and availability. Requirements

• Strong music background evidenced by a degree in instrumental or vocal performance or equivalent performing experience
• Demonstrated love of teaching
• Experience working with young musicians
• Robust appreciation for punctuality
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to pass a routine background check
