About The Position

Ensemble Schools is seeking fun, experienced, and professional instrumental substitute teachers to teach part-time at Cappella Academy at their Tacoma, WA location. The role requires in-person instruction, with high demand for piano, guitar, bass, drums, violin, and voice teachers; the ability to teach multiple instruments is a plus. Substitute teachers are contacted when there is a deficit in a main teacher's schedule, and consistency and greater availability are appreciated. Successful candidates should have a strong music background (degree in instrumental/vocal performance or equivalent experience), a love for teaching, experience with young musicians, punctuality, reliable transportation, and the ability to pass a background check. Instructor pay ranges from $30-33/hour, commensurate with experience. A 401(K) program with employer matching is available after 30 days, and health benefits options are offered to all part- and full-time employees. There is an opportunity to advance to a main teacher position with demonstrated consistency and availability. Requirements

• Fun, experienced, and professional instrumental substitute teacher
