About The Position

Home Instead is hiring part-time caregivers, referred to as Care Professionals or Care Pros, to provide non-medical services that help aging adults remain safe and comfortable in their homes and meet the challenges of aging with dignity, care, and compassion. Care Pros receive Home Instead-designed training and an in-house certification in personal care tasks, including grooming, bathing, continence care, and mobility assistance. The training prepares them to support clients’ emotional, physical, and mental wellbeing in the home.

Requirements

• Treat and care for aging adults and their property with dignity and respect.
• Communicate with clients in a friendly and compassionate manner.
• Demonstrate reliability and trustworthiness.
• Possess a valid driver’s license and valid auto insurance.
• Be available to work 15–40 hours per week.

Nice To Haves

• Prior caregiving experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and conversation.
• Perform light housekeeping and prepare meals.
• Provide medication and appointment reminders.
• Assist with grooming and bathing.
• Assist with toileting and incontinence issues.
• Provide Alzheimer’s care.
