About The Position
TheKey is hiring caregivers to provide one-on-one in-home care for aging adults in Palm Desert, the Coachella Valley, and surrounding communities. Caregivers support clients’ quality of life and provide personal care, help with household tasks, transportation, and companionship. The posting advertises pay rates ranging from $17.50 to $22.00 per hour, with weekly pay and optional daily pay through PayActiv. Full-time and part-time schedules are available, with flexible scheduling and openings across all shifts. Requirements
- At least one year of professional caregiving experience.
- At least 18 years of age.
- California Home Care Aide (HCA) registration; TheKey can help obtain registration upon hire.
- Meet state background-screening requirements, including California fingerprint identification requirements.
- Valid driver’s license and access to a fully insured personal vehicle.
- TB clearance or chest X-ray.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States.
Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one assistance to clients in their homes.
- Assist with personal care, including dressing, bathing, grooming, and meals.
- Perform light housekeeping, including basic cleaning, laundry, and organizing.
- Drive clients to appointments and assist with errands and grocery shopping.
- Provide companionship through games, puzzles, and other activities that offer social and emotional support.
