About The Position

Always Best Care is hiring part-time Caregivers in Sevierville to assist senior and elderly clients in their homes. The role involves helping clients with daily living, light housekeeping, companionship, errands, and transportation to appointments. The position offers 10–25 hours per week, with day and weekend positions available. Experience is preferred, but training is available for the right candidate.

Requirements

Experience is preferred, but the employer will train the right candidate.
Ability to work independently and complete tasks with minimal supervision.
Clean arrest record, including no felonies of any nature.
Ability to successfully pass a drug test.
Clear status on the elderly abuse and sexual predator registries.
Ability to read and write effectively and communicate with other caregivers, clients, and staff.
Must be a U.S. citizen or have a certificate authorizing work in the United States.
Successful work record.
Ability to stay awake and alert at all times.
A spirit of service toward elderly members of the community.
Physical ability to occasionally lift or carry up to 30 pounds, climb, bend or kneel, sit, walk or stand, and perform repetitive motions.

Responsibilities

Assist seniors with general safety and comfort.
Assist with bathing and mobility.
Provide medication reminders and meal preparation.
Perform light housekeeping, including organization, laundry, changing linens and making beds, and dishwashing.
Provide companionship through exercise, stimulating conversation, and support for social activities.
Run errands and transport clients to doctor appointments.
