This role requires assisting residents with medications, engaging them in meaningful interactions and activities, monitoring their needs and health status, and reporting any changes. Responsibilities also include assisting with clothing, laundry, bedtime routines, and maintaining resident unit tidiness. Associates must respond promptly to emergency calls and participate in regularly scheduled in-service training programs and any specialized training required by State Regulation. Documentation of services provided, incidents, behaviors, and out-of-the-ordinary events is crucial, including inputting information into the community computer tracking system. The role also involves conducting and facilitating programming for cognitive stimulation, socialization, physical activity, and spiritual connection.
