About The Position

Howard County Needs Caregivers Who Care — Come Grow With Us! Across Howard County, older adults want to keep living at home, and they need someone kind and dependable to help make that possible. At Griswold Home Care for Howard County, you'd be that person, with a team that values you. We're actively hiring part-time Caregivers, PCAs, and CNAs to provide personal care, companionship, and homemaking services throughout Howard County, Maryland.

Requirements

A caring, reliable, and responsible person ready to make a real impact
CPR Certification required
TB Clearance per CDC guidance and Maryland RSA regulations
Comfortable working in pet-friendly homes, including cats and dogs
Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle with current insurance and registration required
Willingness to travel throughout Howard County
Must successfully pass a criminal background check

Nice To Haves

CNA certification is a plus, but not required
At least ONE year of caregiving or home care experience preferred
High school diploma or GED preferred

Responsibilities

Assisting clients with personal care including bathing, grooming, and toileting
Light housekeeping and meal preparation
Grocery shopping and transporting clients to appointments
Dementia and memory care support
Keeping families and the office updated with regular care notes
