Griswold Home Care is hiring caregivers in Westminster, Sykesville, Manchester, Eldersburg, Finksburg, and communities throughout Carroll County, plus nearby Pennsylvania neighbors like Hanover. Requirements
- A caring, reliable, and responsible person ready to make a real impact
- CPR Certification required
- TB Clearance per CDC guidance and Maryland RSA regulations
- At least ONE year of caregiving or home care experience preferred
- Comfortable working in pet-friendly homes, including cats and dogs
- Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle with current insurance and registration required
- Willingness to travel throughout Carroll County
- Must successfully pass a criminal background check
Nice To Haves
- CNA certification is a plus, but not required
- High school diploma or GED preferred
Responsibilities
- Assisting clients with personal care including bathing, grooming, and toileting
- Light housekeeping and meal preparation
- Grocery shopping and transporting clients to appointments
- Dementia and memory care support
- Keeping families and the office updated with regular care notes
