About The Position

Senior Helpers is seeking compassionate and reliable caregivers to support a client in the Youngwood area. The role involves providing high-quality home care and companionship, with consistent hours. Afternoon shifts are available starting at 1:00 PM, on weekdays and Sundays.

Requirements

• At least 3–6 months of professional or personal experience in home care, caregiving, or a related field.
• Valid driver’s license, car insurance, and reliable transportation.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Negative results from either a 2-Step TB Test or a TB Quantiferon Gold Blood Test.
• Compassionate, patient, and reliable, with a passion for helping others.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living, including dressing and grooming, toileting and incontinence care, bathing, and mobility support.
• Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful conversation and activities.
• Assist with meal preparation, light housekeeping, and errands.
• Provide transportation and accompany clients to appointments, outings, or social events.
• Monitor clients’ overall well-being and report any concerns.
• Maintain a warm, friendly, and professional demeanor.
