About The Position

Senior Helpers is seeking a compassionate and reliable caregiver to support a client in the Youngwood area. The role offers afternoon shifts starting at 1:00 PM on weekdays and Sundays, with consistent hours. The caregiver will provide personal care, companionship, household assistance, transportation, and general monitoring of the client’s well-being while maintaining a warm, friendly, and professional demeanor.

Requirements

• At least 3–6 months of professional or personal experience in home care, caregiving, or a related field.
• Valid driver’s license, car insurance, and reliable transportation.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Negative results from either a 2-Step TB Test or TB Quantiferon Gold Blood Test.
• Compassionate, patient, and reliable, with a passion for helping others.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living, including dressing and grooming, toileting and incontinence care, bathing, and mobility support.
• Provide companionship and engage the client in meaningful conversation and activities.
• Assist with meal preparation, light housekeeping, and errands.
• Provide transportation and accompany the client to appointments, outings, or social events.
• Monitor the client’s overall well-being and report concerns.
• Maintain a warm, friendly, and professional demeanor.
