About The Position

Right at Home is seeking compassionate and experienced caregivers to join our team in Fresno, California. Our mission is to provide non-medical home care services to seniors, helping them maintain independence in their own homes. We are looking for individuals with a passion for professionalism, confidence, integrity, compassion, and safety. This role involves assisting clients with daily living activities, providing companionship, and ensuring a safe and clean environment. We specialize in care for clients with Dementia, Hospice needs, Incontinence, and those requiring assistance with transfers and mobility.

Requirements

Must be 18 years of age.
Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Must possess a valid driver's license and current automobile insurance.
Must have reliable transportation to transport clients.
Must be able to pass a full employment background check.
HCA Registration (assistance provided at offer of employment).
TB Skin test (completed test not older than 90 days accepted).

Nice To Haves

Experience with Dementia.
Experience with Hospice care.
Experience with Incontinence care.
Experience with transfers using Hoyer Lifts, Gait Belts, and Slide Boards.

Responsibilities

Performs personal care activities of daily living, including assisting with dressing and grooming.
Assists with ambulation and transfers, including the use of lifting equipment like Hoyer Lifts, Gait Belts, and Slide Boards (must be able to lift 50 lbs).
Prepares meals and snacks according to client instructions.
Accompanies clients on errands or medical appointments.
Performs light housekeeping activities.
Provides medication reminders.
Provides care for bed-bound clients.
Offers companionship to clients.
