Caregiver – Hindi, Bengali, Marathi or Gujarati Speaking | Up to $1,300 Sign-On Bonus
About The Position
The Caregiver (Personal Care Aide) provides in-home support to improve clients’ quality of life and provide comfort, dignity, and assistance. This position is based in Palatine, Illinois, and requires speaking Hindi, Bengali, Marathi, Gujarati, or another language or dialect commonly spoken in India. The case involves approximately six-hour shifts, five to six days per week; the schedule may be shared between two caregivers. Familiarity with Indian culture is preferred. The role includes personal care, mobility assistance, meal preparation, light household tasks, companionship, and maintaining a safe and respectful home environment. Pay is $19.00–$20.00 per hour, with up to a $1,300 sign-on bonus and DailyPay available. Paid training, career advancement opportunities, and benefits subject to eligibility are also described.
Requirements
- Ability to speak Hindi, Bengali, Marathi, Gujarati, or another language or dialect commonly spoken in India.
- Minimum six months of personal or professional caregiving experience.
- Compassionate, patient, and dependable personality.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable transportation to and from the client’s home.
- Ability to lift, stand, bend, and assist the client as needed, up to 50 pounds.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Familiarity with Indian culture preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care support, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene assistance.
- Assist the client with mobility, transfers, and daily living activities.
- Encourage safe movement and activity in accordance with the established care plan.
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding when needed.
- Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and other household tasks.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to improve quality of life.
- Promote a safe, comfortable, and respectful home environment.
